Una nuova facciata per proteggere ogni camera dell’albergo dalla luce diretta del sole. La facciata, staccata dall’edificio esistente, dota ogni camera di un balcone che affaccia sul mare. Realizzata in terracotta, in diretto rapporto con il castello che svetta sulla collina retrostante, si compone di elementi estrusi che, opportunamente posizionati, proteggono l’edificio dall’eccessiva esposizione solare e fungono da balaustra, senza celare la facciata preesistente.

A new facade for protecting each hotel room from direct sunlight.The facade, detached from the existing buildings, offers every room a balcony to the ocean. Made of terracotta, in direct relationship with the castle that stands out in the rear hill, is composed of extruded elements which, duly positioned, protect the building from excessive solar exposition and serve as balustrade, without hiding the pre-existent facade.
